Description
Jennifer Rylander at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington said they have too many cats.
"Currently we're at what we call 136% capacity," she said.
Abby cleans up for all these cats.
"I think we got like 40 something cats and kittens yesterday. That's why this room is so full of kennels and layers of kittens."
These rescued kitties take time away from more needy animals and they may not need rescue.
"It's not unusual for a mom to step away from her litter of kittens to go find nourishment. And then return to them later. We ask that people leave them alone. And not kitnap them.”
Folks can help by donating, volunteering and adopting.
