Description
The annual La Strada dei Pastelli Chalk Art Festival will feature large-scale chalk artists that will transform downtown Main Street with vibrancy and color.
Graphic artist Brittany Resch is also a chalk artist.
"You know I think this mouse needs some whiskers. The theme of the event this year is Creative Critters," Resch said.
She's one of 31 artists creating art on Hillsboro’s Main St for La Strada Dei Pastelli Chalk Art Festival from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
Raziah Roushan and Tualatin Valley Creates produces the event to show the city’s commitment to public art.
"Just to come and slow down, and soak in the creativity and happiness that this event brings," said Roushan.
Resch is anxious to show off her skills on the street.
"I think people are wanting to get out of their houses. There's so much talent and creativity everywhere," she said.
See it all done at Monday’s Chalk Art Stroll!
