Hood River police responded to a call about a "dangerous situation" in a home near Viento Lane and Clearwater Lane around noon on Feb. 2 Officers were evacuating residents and people from nearby business, and urged others to stay away. Hood River police initially reported an active shooter situation near the area of Clearwater Lane and Cascade Avenue.
