At the behest of Republican Joe Kent’s campaign, all counties in the district are recounting votes in the race. He’ll need to pay nearly $49,000 to do it. It's a machine recount, which means it's limited to "undervotes" — ones where the voting machines determined that a voter had not marked a choice for that race on their ballot.
