Tuesday was a whirlwind for Measure 114, originally set to bring a new series of gun laws to Oregon this Thursday. Despite a federal decision in the morning that allowed the measure to go into effect, a separate state-level case went the other direction. As a result, Measure 114 is indefinitely blocked until the county judge issues a ruling in the case as a whole or the restraining order is tossed out by a higher court.
