Description
The state senator will no longer have to warn troopers at the capitol in Salem when he’s going to be on-site, the result of comments he made as Republicans prepared a legislative walkout in 2019. When Gov. Kate Brown said she would send state troopers after lawmakers who shunned the capitol, Boquist said they should "send bachelors and come heavily armed," among other things.
