A job fair inside Dawson Park is providing resources for a neighborhood plagued by gun violence. The job fair happens once a month and people can find opportunities with the City of Portland, Worksource Oregon and several other entities. People were also able to get food and Covid-19 vaccinations at the fair. The event is put on by the Vancouver Avenue First Baptist Church, Cascadia Behavioral Health and The Elliot Neighborhood Association.
