The wife of Palestinian medic Asaad Al-Nsasrah who has been in Israeli custody since a deadly Israeli attack on ambulances in Gaza says she has "no information on him, about which prison he is ... or what his health condition is". "We were so scared and completely hopeless, but thank God when they told us that he is detained we felt a little relieved but not completely because detainees also face torture," recounts Nafiza Al-Nsasrah. In the early hours of March 23, Israeli soldiers killed 15 medics and rescuers as they were responding to distress calls from Palestinians in southern Gaza, sparking international condemnation.
