Description
It is a crystal clear morning around Central Ohio, however that is bad news for temps out the door!
Those clear skies have let temps fall into the low 30s and even upper 20s early this morning, and that means frost conditions are in place this morning. Grab and extra layer as you head out, and don't forget to warm up the car as well!
The good news is that Thursday afternoon is looking much better, with ample sunshine and warming temps. Our highs today will be in the mid-60s, so plan to spend some time outdoors getting some fresh air!
By late Thursday evening into early Thursday night, a few showers may slide through, but most of us will stay dry and any light showers will be out before you wake up Friday morning. Temperatures will stay more mild as well, only dropping into the low 50s overnight.
Then we turn our attention to the Easter weekend, which will have several chances for rain & storms.
Friday will be dry and windy and very warm, with a run at 80 degrees for much of the 10TV viewing area. Sunshine should be around for most of the day as well, so if you're a fan of warm weather, enjoy this one!
This nice weather won't stick around for long though, as storms will be heading our way overnight and into the start of the weekend. Some storms could be strong when they arrive early Saturday morning, but the system as a whole will be weakening as it moves in.
Showers and storms are expected to continue through the day on Saturday, but temperatures will still make it near 70. A few of these could also be strong, but the likelihood is pretty low. With the chances of rain & a few storms lasting through most of the day however, you may want to have a 'plan B' for your outdoor plans Saturday.
Scattered showers and possible thunderstorms will continue to linger around the region through the start of the day Easter Sunday, but it's looking like much of your Easter Sunday afternoon and evening will be dry and mild. More storms are possible Sunday night and into early Monday, before we dry out Tuesday and Wednesday.
