A 64-year-old man died while hiking the Manitou Incline on Tuesday morning. At 10:23 a.m., bystanders on the Manitou Incline contacted 911 after discovering a male in medical distress, according to the City of Manitou Springs. The Manitou Springs Fire Department and Police Department responded. Upon arrival, emergency personnel found bystanders performing CPR on the man, the city said. He was unresponsive and was later pronounced deceased. The cause of death is undetermined and under investigation.
