Hundreds of stolen items – including gold and cash – were recovered after two search warrants were executed in Aurora related to an investigation into nearly two dozen residential burglaries. Five people are now in federal custody, according to Aurora Police. On March 27, Aurora Police, along with the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, served search warrants at two residences in the 1400 block of Fairplay Street and the 1400 block of Altura Boulevard in central Aurora.
