An Aurora Police Department officer was released from the hospital after a two-alarm fire broke out at a duplex Monday afternoon near Hampden Avenue and Chambers Road, a spokesperson for the City of Aurora said. The officer and a person who lives at the home were taken to a hospital with smoke inhalation, Aurora Fire Rescue said.
