No one was injured when a shot was fired through the window of a building near Global Leadership Academy and other schools after a carjacking Tuesday afternoon, according to the Adams County Sheriff's Office and Mapleton Public Schools. The district said a shot was fired into a window at Mapleton Arts Center, which is on the Global Campus at 7480 Broadway, which is northwest of the Interstate 25 and U.S. 36 interchange. No students were in the building at the time, the district said.
