9NEWS filed a lawsuit against Aurora Police Tuesday morning, arguing the department must release the full and unedited body camera footage of a fatal police shooting. For more than four months, 9NEWS has requested unedited body camera footage of last May’s fatal shooting of Kilyn Lewis. There are no open investigations into the shooting, yet APD has still not released the full footage.
