On Sunday, Colorado Parks and Wildlife announced they have completed the capture and release for the second gray wolf reintroduction season.
Fifteen wolves, seven males and eight females, were translocated from the central interior of British Columbia to Colorado, CPW said. Separately, they released five members of the original Copper Creek pack they recaptured in September, a media release says. Additionally, CPW said nine other wolves are in the state. That brings the total number of wolves in Colorado to 29.
