The eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 will be closed near Vail for at least six hours on Tuesday. The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) said it planned to close eastbound Interstate 70 at East Vail/Exit 180 starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday. CDOT said the closure was to allow for crews to remove commercial motor vehicle wreckage. The time was selected due to traffic volume typically being at its lowest on I-70.
