A man who pleaded guilty to killing three family members in 2022 is scheduled to be sentenced on Friday. Christopher Martinez, 23, pleaded guilty in October to three counts of second-degree murder, according to court documents. Other charges were dismissed as part of the plea agreement. Martinez admitted of killing his brother, sister, and mother in their Aurora home after blacking out from drinking, an arrest affidavit said. "I love that kid, but I just don't know why he did it," said Martinez’s father, Mike Castaneda.
