A Golden police officer was killed in a crash Wednesday evening, the Colorado State Patrol said. The crash happened just before 5 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 58 and Washington Avenue in Golden. Troopers said another officer was also involved. It's unclear if they were injured. Few details about the crash were immediately available, but troopers said they suspect alcohol was involved.
