The Fort Collins Police Department announced on Monday that a woman was shot in the leg after confronting two suspects breaking into her car. At 1:20 a.m. Monday morning, Fort Collins police responded to a report of a shooting in the 700 block of Crown Ridge Lane. A woman was woken up by one of her family members who saw two males breaking into her car that was parked in front of her house, according to the media release.
