Description
The Supreme Court signaled Tuesday it may uphold a Biden administration regulation on "ghost gun" kits -- which allow people to build fully functional and untraceable guns at home.
The Biden administration has claimed ghost guns are being used more frequently by criminals.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives imposed the regulations in 2022.
The agency said a 1968 law requiring manufacturers and dealers to perform background checks and include serial numbers on firearms covers the kits.
The high court's decision is expected by next summer.
