The teenage girl who was accused of shooting five people in Lower Downtown after she was denied entry to a bar pleaded guilty on Friday to a single count of attempted first-degree murder - extreme indifference. Keanna Rosenburgh, now 18, was apprehended in California about a month after the shooting Sept. 16, 2023, outside Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row, at 20th and Market streets. Police said security footage captured Rosenburgh firing a handgun indiscriminately into a crowd of people. Police arrested Rosenburgh about a month later in southern California. She faced more than 20 criminal counts, including eight charges of attempted murder. All other counts were dismissed Friday morning in Denver court when she pleaded guilty. The one charge she pleaded guilty to was amended to name all of the eight victims in the case.
