Boeing's largest union, more than 30,000 members strong, voted to reject a proposed labor contract and voted to strike. Over 94% of the 33,000 members of Boeing's IAM District 751 Machinists Union voted to reject the contract. Then, 96% of members voted to strike. The strike started at midnight, Sept. 13.
