While some of the animals living there are used to triple digit temps – others are less comfortable in this heat. Many of their habitats are designed to keep them cool. The zoo staff are giving many animals the option to stay indoors rather than outside in their exhibit. They're even handing out frozen treats - to help the animals cool off. Zoo staff said if you want to see the animals in this heat - you'll need to go in the morning when it's a bit cooler.
