The Lakewood Police Department is investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash Wednesday morning. The crash happened at the intersection of West 14th Avenue and Carr Street, Lakewood Police posted on the social media platform X early Wednesday morning. That's southwest of West Colfax Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard. Both directions of West 14th Avenue west of Carr Street were closed as police investigated the crash, according to police. As of 4:26 a.m. Wednesday, the intersection was open to traffic.
