A video from the Steamboat Lake Marina shows the fireworks show start as normal before what looks like a large explosion. Colorado Parks and Wildlife said that an unknown malfunction with one of the fireworks led to others that were on a stand nearby to ignite. The fireworks are launched over the lake from an island. Three workers were treated at the scene by firefighters and did not have to go to the hospital.
