A person was killed and a park ranger was injured in a shooting in Yellowstone National Park Thursday morning. Rangers responded to Canyon Village in the central part of the park Wednesday night for a report of a person with a gun who was making threats, according to a release from the park. When rangers contacted the person there was an exchange of gunfire between them, killing the person and injuring a park ranger.
