A house fire in Colorado Springs was started by a dog who accidentally turned on the stove, catching a cardboard box on fire. Home security video shows the dog jump up, putting his paws on the stove before walking away. The burner appears to heat up and then the box that was sitting on top of the stove catches on fire. The homeowners said they were able to put out the fire before firefighters arrived, but it caused extensive damage to the home. One of the people living in the home was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
