The Alamosa Police Department said a person of interest in a shooting that killed a person and injured two more at a hotel Sunday morning has been taken into custody. Officers responded around 2:04 a.m. to a shooting at the Sunset Inn Hotel on West Eighth Street. Police Chief George Dingfelder said one victim died and the other victims were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, according to KRDO in Colorado Springs.
