During a meeting with Cherry Creek School parents on Monday, the district showed video of a registered sex offender trying to grab a child at Black Forest Hills Elementary. Solomon Galligan, 33, is seen on video walking onto a field at the school where children are playing, according to an arrest affidavit. This video was zoomed in and is narrated by Cherry Creek Schools Chief Information Officer Jason Koenig. According to the district, the video footage is from a motion sensor-equipped security camera. The incident on April 19 occurred at a significant distance from the camera, so there are brief gaps in the video from when it stopped recording because the motion was at a distance.
