A driver is being held on a vehicular homicide charge after hitting and killing a man in the yard of a home Monday afternoon, the Denver Police Department said. Police said the crash happened just after 3 p.m. at the intersection of Mississippi Avenue and Irving Street in southwest Denver. The driver was westbound on Mississippi when he made a wide right turn onto Irving. Police said the driver went into a yard, hitting and killing a man.
