A man died and two people were injured in a shooting at a house party Sunday morning, Commerce City Police said. The shooting happened just before 2 a.m. in the 6900 block of East 69th Place. That's a few blocks west of Quebec Parkway and the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge. The man who died was pronounced dead at the scene. Another victim was transported to the hospital, and police did not know how serious their injuries were. A third victim transported themselves to the hospital, and their injuries were not life-threatening. Detectives are in the process of gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses who were at the party. Police said many of them attended the party after seeing social media posts about the event. Police are working to develop suspect information, and investigators do not believe there is a threat to the public. Investigators did release a photo of a small, single-cab, white older-model pickup truck with five-spoke wheels. On Monday, police said they had located the truck and its occupants, and they are not considered suspects in the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call 303-289-3626.
