The latest round of winter weather brought heavy snow to Colorado's mountains as well as thunderstorms, rain and snow showers to lower elevations of the state. Blizzard Warnings were posted until 6 a.m. for Colorado's Palmer Divide and the Eastern Plains, where gusts up to 65 mph made travel on Interstate 70 and Interstate 25 near impossible at times east and south of Denver. The snow ends Monday morning as the storm moves out of the state, but cold and windy conditions will remain. It will also be chilly, with highs stuck in the upper 30s — about 20 degrees below average — in Denver on Monday.
