Description
Several schools, businesses and offices across Colorado are on delayed start, remote start or closed on Monday or Tuesday due to below-zero temperatures and snow.
Westminster Public Schools, Mapleton Public Schools, Limon Public Schools, 27J Schools, and Adams County School District 14 are among those closed Tuesday, a day after the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
A Wind Chill Warning remains in effect for much of Colorado through 11 a.m. Tuesday for wind chills as low as 35 degrees below zero. The coldest wind chill values are forecast for Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
