A suspect is in custody after one person was killed in a shooting outside the El Paso County Courthouse in downtown Colorado Springs Thursday morning, the Colorado Springs Police Department said. Police said the shooting happened just after 10 a.m. in front of the courthouse on Tejon Street. Police said this was not an active shooter situation and there is no threat to the community. They said the shooting "appears to be an isolated incident."
