Big Brother 26 | BB26 | #BB26 #bigbrother #bigbrother26
Big Brother season 26 gave us a wild week full of lies, blindsides and a torturous HOH win in the backyard of the Big Brother house. Chelsie Baham’s Head of Household reign took a last-minute turn due to a clever lie by Angela Murray, Makensy ‘MJ’ Manbeck was convinced to play her VETO and Quinn Martin was evicted from the Big Brother House.
OTEV, which is VETO backward, was the shortest it has ever been in BB history. Due to a tricky question regarding Cedric Hodges and Tucker Des Laurier, Makensy won OTEV in just one round. While she wasn’t planning on using it, she worked with Chelsie to change the plan, use the VETO on Angela again, and backdoor Quinn.
Julie Chen-Moonves missed her first Big Brother live eviction episode in 24 years, the first time in history, due to being sick with COVID-19. Jerry O’Connell filled in for Julie and greeted Quinn on the Big Brother stage after he was evicted.
Angela saved herself from being evicted by putting this plan into motion. She got paranoid when she walked into the BB26 backyard and saw Leah Peters, Quinn, T’Kor Clottey, Kimo Apaka and Rubina Bernabe and convinced herself that they had solidified a deal. Whether she believe it or not, her scheming worked.
Makensy is proving to be a power player in the Big Brother house and has risen in the ranks as the new BB26 frontrunner, especially as Chelsie is continuously at odds with her once-ally Cam Sullivan-Brown.
Cam and Chelsie’s fighting continued as all the houseguests moved into the backyard for the week for a game-changing twist called Jankie World.
In Jankie World, the HOH competition was a marshmallow-holding pressure cooker that lasted ( hours and 55 minutes. Angela, Leah and Cam were the last three people standing when Angela bowed out of the competition. Then, Leah and Cam decided to do a one-legged tiebreaker which led to Leah’s first HOH win. All this as the houseguests are forced to dance, sing and eat ice cream and pizza on command.
Leah put Trio members Kimo an Rubina on the block for the eviction even though she should’ve nominated T’Kor, who is a bigger threat with most competition wins, strategic moves and better social skills.
Big Brother houseguests will compete to see who wins the Power of Veto on Wednesday where Rubina or Kimo could secure their own safety.
Big Brother eviction night on Thursday will reveal how the houseguests will vote, how the power will continue to shift in the Big Brother house and if Leah made the right moves with her nominations.
