Police are responding to a call about a person who barricaded themselves inside an apartment building, authorities said. Officers responded Thursday afternoon to the Meridian Pointe Apartments, located on East Hillsborough Avenue and North 22nd Street, calling it "an active incident," according to a Tampa Police Department news release.
