Crews battled a trash fire that broke out Wednesday afternoon near Tampa International Airport.
The blaze broke out just before 3:30 p.m. at a recycled metals facility off of N. Hesperides Street and W. Osborne Avenue.
A photo shared by Tampa Fire Rescue showed a large plume of black smoke coming from a pile of trash surrounding a dumpster.
Using ground and aerial operations, firefighters brought the blaze under control within 50 minutes. Workers from the scrap metal facility helped move piles of recycled materials so crews could put out hotspots.
No one was hurt. Investigators are still working to find out what caused the fire.
