TRAFFIC ALERT 1 A crash involving a Tampa police cruiser is impacting traffic Tuesday afternoon in Tampa. The crash happened just before 2:30 p.m. in the area of North Tampa Street and Woodlawn Avenue. The Tampa Police Department said an officer part of their agency was responding to an emergency call about a man who was armed with a stick and threatening people off of Highland Avenue. Officers responded to the 900 block of West Sligh Avenue just after 2 p.m., but when they got there, the suspect had taken off.
