Police say a man shot and killed his girlfriend before turning the gun on himself Friday afternoon at a St. Petersburg condo. St. Petersburg Police Department officers responded around 2:30 p.m. to the Parklane Condominiums, located at 47th Avenue North and 4th Street North, after they were asked to do a welfare check. Officers who entered the unit discovered two people dead, authorities said. Investigators later said the man and woman found dead were in a domestic relationship. They have been identified as 59-year-old Neville Jones and 50-year-old Callie Wright.
