Description

A Polk County deputy was arrested for DUI after coming into work intoxicated, according to the sheriff's office. Authorities said 27-year-old Joseph Everett showed up for duty on the morning of June 22 when his supervisor noticed an odor of alcohol on his breath. The deputy underwent a standardized field sobriety test and "exhibited numerous signs of obvious impairment," the sheriff's office said.
