Description
Pasco County deputies are searching for a woman they say was inside a home during an attempted break-in-turned-shooting early Friday morning in Port Richey.
It happened around 3:35 a.m. at a home in the Pioneer Trail area, the sheriff's office said in a news release. The agency added that it appeared to be an isolated incident with no indication that anyone was shot or injured.
Deputies said Kenneth Ohmann, 49, and Thomas Philpot, 33, were attempting to break into an occupied home when they fired several shots into the residence.
When the shots were fired, there were several people inside the home, including 45-year-old Alisa McKeehan who ran off and is still missing, according to the sheriff's office.
Ohmann and Philpot reportedly left the home in a car. But around 10 a.m., deputies served a search warrant in the Settlers Drive area of Hudson. That's where they arrested Ohmann, Thomas Philpot and Sabrina Philpot who were hiding inside, deputies said.
