Hillsborough Sheriff deputies are investigating a shooting that injured one deputy and killed two other people. Deputies responded to a report of a shooting at 11:09 p.m. Saturday on Cactus Wren Place when Rebecca Themelis, 48, said her son shot her husband, Chistos Byron Themelis, 51. Several more shots were fired when she was on the phone, according to a news release. When deputies arrived, they found the Rebecca and suspect outside of the residence. The suspect is 19-year-old Christos Alexander Themelis Jr. who then shot his mother in the back of the head and then fired at law enforcement. Five deputies returned fire, and one, Deputy Shane McGough, was shot in his leg.
