Tampa police are investigating after a man was found dead Wednesday evening on Hillsborough Avenue. Officers responded around 5:15 p.m. to W Hillsborough Avenue near N Rome Avenue. They arrived to find a man with upper body trauma. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The homicide investigation is ongoing. No further information was immediately released.
