A bicyclist was killed after a hit-and-run in Hernando County on Saturday. An unknown vehicle was driving on Tall Pines Drive and failed to yield at an intersection with Ridge Manor Boulevard. The vehicle collided with the 33-year-old on a motorized bicycle, according to Florida Highway Patrol. The rider was thrown from the bicycle and suffered fatal injuries as the unknown vehicle took off. Troopers said the man was later discovered by a passing driver at 4:30 a.m., but they don't know what time the hit-and-run happened.
