A busy road that connects to Interstate 275 in St. Petersburg is shut down after a serious crash, police said. According to St. Pete police, all lanes of 28th Street South are closed in both directions after two cars collided. Sky 10 flew over the area, showing a truck and a sedan had crashed on 28th Street near the I-275 overpass. Both vehicles have significant damage. The sedan was pushed off the road during the crash and ended up just out from under the I-275 overpass. Details about the crash are limited but police said at least one person was hurt.
