Description

A man is barricaded inside a Wesley Chapel home Friday night after shooting a woman inside, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office reports. The shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. at a home on Marquette Avenue near Merilee Place. Investigators say they believe a man shot a woman inside the house after getting into an altercation. The woman is receiving medical care. Although the man is barricaded inside the home, deputies say there is no public safety threat.
