Description
An investigation is underway in Hudson after a Pasco County deputy shot a woman armed with a knife, according to the sheriff's office.
Deputies say they were called to assist a woman with a knife Thursday afternoon in the area of Denton Avenue and Dane Lane.
When they arrived, a "confrontation ensued," the sheriff's office said.
Deputies fired at the woman who was shot and transported to the hospital. No deputies were injured.
Denton Avenue is closed between Hicks Road and Easy Water Lane while deputies investigate.
