The owner of a Manatee County day care was arrested for molesting two former teenage employees, according to the sheriff's office. Sanjay Das, 58, faces charges of lewd and lascivious molestation and lewd and lascivious touching of certain minors, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said in a statement. Deputies say as the owner of the Country Cubs Day Care, located at 12294 U.S. 301 N. in Parrish, he inappropriately touched two girls who worked at the facility last summer. Investigators learned of an allegation and, over time, eventually found another underage girl who experienced similar contact, the sheriff's office said.
