Description
Florida troopers shut down a stretch of Interstate 75 in both directions at State Road 52 in Pasco County because of a "suspicious incident," according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers say their investigation started around 8:40 a.m. Thursday morning.
As of 9:50 a.m., the northbound lanes of I-75 have reopened to traffic. Southbound traffic continues to be diverted at Exit 293. Drivers are blocked from entering I-75 at State Road 52 (Exit 285).
