Northbound U.S. Highway 19 has reopened to traffic following a serious crash Friday morning. It happened in the area of U.S. 19 and Seville Boulevard, according to the Clearwater Police Department. Photos show an SUV somehow flipped onto its roof while a truck suffered damage to its front. Police say one person involved in the crash suffered critical injuries. Another person was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Traffic in the northbound lanes had been diverted to the northbound access road at Seville Boulevard.
